R.L. Lynn is a former high-school and college math teacher who has had a passion for writing since a young age but only found the time, ironically, after becoming a new mom.
In January 2023, she entered her first story contest for NYC Midnight's Short Story Contest, placed 5th in round 1, and never looked back. Since then, she has written some 45 short stories, one of which would become the inspiration for her debut novel, STEPSISTERS.
She now finds time to write in between working as an online math tutor and stay-at-home mom. She can both cut a rug on the ballroom floor as well as wield an epee. She possesses a vivid imagination and a deep desire to use her writing to spread messages of hope and empowerment in a world that can sometimes seem awash in negativity.

I could not put this book down. It was so intriguing that I would rush home from work to read more of the adventure and the story. This book opened up the door for me to want to read again after years of really forgetting how enjoyable books can be.
I finished reading this book and immediately wanted the sequel! What an imaginative, beautiful retelling of a fairy tale that we all know. I am dying to know where this story leads!
